Travel TipsA Weekend in Cape Town: Guest Itinerary

The Perfect Cape Town Weekend from Century Club
Staying with us puts you 15 minutes from the heart of Cape Town. Here's how we'd spend a perfect 48 hours.
Day 1: Morning - Signal Hill & Bo-Kaap
Start early. Drive up to Signal Hill for panoramic views over the Atlantic Seaboard - arrive before 8am to beat the crowds. Walk down through Bo-Kaap, Cape Town's iconic colourful neighbourhood, and grab breakfast at one of the local cafes.
Day 1: Afternoon - V&A Waterfront
Head to the V&A Waterfront for lunch at one of the harbour-front restaurants. Visit the Zeitz MOCAA (Museum of Contemporary Art Africa) if you're interested in art - it's the best museum in Africa. Browse the Watershed Market for local craft and design.
Day 1: Evening - Sunset at Camps Bay
Drive the scenic Atlantic Seaboard route to Camps Bay. The beach strip at sunset is one of the world's great urban experiences. Dinner at one of the strip restaurants - book ahead.
Day 2: Morning - Table Mountain
If the cable car is running (check wind conditions), go up Table Mountain first thing. The views from the summit are transformative. Allow 2-3 hours including queuing.
Day 2: Afternoon - Constantia Wine Valley
Head inland through the Constantia valley - one of the world's most beautiful wine routes, just 20 minutes from the city. Visit Groot Constantia (the oldest wine estate in South Africa) and taste locally.
Day 2: Evening - Return to Century Club
End your weekend in style. Our concierge can arrange a private dinner in your apartment, or recommend the finest local restaurant for your farewell dinner.
